Goals for the first half of 2019
After a long hiatus it is time for the semi-annual update about my blogging and learning goals. Clearly I have been late on this blog itself and it should be an indicator of how the rest of the year is going to be.
Normally I share the status of previous 6-months goals followed by new goals for the current 6-months. Since I am clearly behind, I am going to jump into the goals for the first half of 2019.
As far as blogging is concerned, I have been busy migrating my old blog to S3 and a new domain. I was also fine tuning the development environment for my new blog. Since I write my blogs using Markdown, I wanted to get a preview of how it looks. Also I wanted to use Windows 10 based environment for my blog writing. All these activities kept me busy.
Goals for first half of 2019
The first half of 2019 will a action packed time for me at work front. I will have to contend myself with an array of exciting technologies and projects - supported by a fantastic engineering team. I will be spending a lot of energy at work but I am sure this will also help me with some blog ideas.
I am going to give myself time till early July (about 4 months) and plan to write at least 3 blogs. Here are some ideas that I am considering right now:
- Blog on LinkedIn about management
- Blog related to AWS Lambda functions
- Blog related to CI/CD
- Blog related to Python
- Blog related to Kubernetes
3 blogs in 4 months is not hard but it requires some careful planning since I need to fair amount of time learning new things. Lets see how this year turns out for my blog.
